Found info by googling that said it happened on the 14th. Carnival had a ship there then. Sad.

Busy uploading today so must be satisfactory with VZW's plan ... Tapatalk is great, isn't it, hit SEND & done when posting. Casino actions picking up too - where's everyone in that main theater or was it a "DI" presentation (oops, that's the competition ... just kidding.)

Very nice, grand style atrium - that's what I don't like the *Away layout, not that it make or break the time onboard.

Ha ha, I knew it and thank you - much obliged. Wow, a headphone jack for private listening, surely that must work. That's more wires/cables for me to bring along if & when we go MSC - I'm impressed about the backend, what brand TV/monitor is that. All that TV channels for flipping the buttons alone - with CNN, definitely real news, especially as they break ... usually can't monitor my Twitter feeds live at sea.

Yummy, you ate pizza of all things, must be good enough. Once upon a time, NCL served warm & fresh bread in all the MDR in generous portion, now - had to ask at breakfast for that basket.

Lots of drinks too like martinis, champagne, a/f punch. They also had a nice cake.

Hi Dex, DH and I have sailed on a few NCL cruises with you ( I usually make up the name labels for the M&G on NCL so I remember all the CC names:D)

We will be on the Divina in Jan., sailed her this past Feb., loved the ship, if you get a chance could you post a picture of the Galaxy restaurant menu and also the Italian Ristorante (not Eately) would appreciate it if it's not too much trouble.

Be sure to try the pistachio gelato! Have a wonderful time.

Quick favor, we booked thru casino and put down $400 deposit that turns into OBC . We were told twice from MSC that it is refundable. Now somebody mentioned that they were told its NOT refundable. If you could, could you get a clarification for me? Thanks so much

Sorry I didn't see your note before - we are off ship and at airport. I did look at the menu one day but don't recall what was all on it or take a picture.

We did try several gelatos. They had it on 14 by the pool and on 6 by the bar which I didn't know they had it on 14 too.

We got our gelato up by the pool, didn't discover the other place til almost last day.

I was thinking of getting the dinner package as we will be on for 11 days and only have 2 free specialty dinners, we didn't find the mdr food very good and booked an aft facing balcony so not in the yacht club, but the 4 package includes galaxy and ristorante italia, menus I found look like all fish dishes, we only eat steak or chicken, hopefully I will find the menus before Jan. 3 :ship:

We loved the Spirit, had the front corner suite with separate bedroom. It had a huge balcony off the front and also one off the side, best cabin ever with Teo for a butler.

That room on the Spirit did look nice from pics I'd seen.

We too had Teo and the other butler on ten was Seka.

We toured jvsnana room after the m&g and they visited our suite 9 aft.

Those on 10 look like little apartments.

Hi Dexx, so great to see all your pictures, feels like we're on the cruise again! Good to look back on a fantastic week. We are now in Key West, quite a change, great place to be! The girls love the party atmosphere ;-)

And we finally have internet again, so will start posting reviews of our cruise week soon, here on the boards.

It was great to meet you and your family onboard!!

See post #3. I did leave out the wrinkle comment but that was pre-cruise so after put them on in the steamy Miami heat the wrinkles disappeared.

Thanks. I did. The kids pimped me on it. We tried to see how many versions of pizza they could come up with which was many. Only saw sausage once.

Funny thing is the hot dogs tasted like the ones in Spaghetti O's which I like but the rest of the family thinks is gross.

The late night buffet was open to 2 a.m. It was about same in size of offerings as BA. Those were salads, tuna, coleslaw, egg, not sure what the one far right was. Main difference was the great pizza.

I'll be adding some more comments but yes, we will sail MSC again if costs remain reasonable. They said at M&G they have 9 ships coming in 11 years so that should give more options out of the US I hope.
