Requesting specific table size

After twice on phone waiting FOREVER with Carnival I thought I would see if someone here knows the answer. We are booked in March for cruise. a large table Is out of the questions due to a number of health/communication situations..I need to request a table for four.. HOW soon before cruise can I do this? Thanks!

Are the reservations linked for the four passengers in question? That is half the battle.

Go see the MaitreD' after boarding.

For my last cruise, I emailed the maître D several months before the cruise and he responded right away.

It will just be my husband and I and grandchild..thus a table for four..I just don't want to be at a very large tabldue to hubbys hearing and communication problems.

Even if someone from the ship gets back to you and swears on their grandmother's grave that your request will be honored, I would still go to the dining room upon boarding to see what table you received. If it is not what was requested let them know and hopefully they can correct it for you.

We always go to talk to the maitre d as soon as we board because we have 3 rooms that want to sit together. Our request has always been honored. If you go early you can avoid a long line.

Get anytime dining then you can request whatever you want!

Just when you walk into the MDR, tell them you want a table for 4. Problem solved. There are several threads about people wanting to sit along vs sitting with strangers. Same concept, just tell them you want a table for 4 for your family and you'll be accommodated.

Use this email address and email the

maitre'd 5 days before your cruise. That is approximately when they are scheduling the tables for your cruise. We have been lucky when doing this and have gotten a table for 4 every time. Good Luck!
