From all reports the Legend got the same treatment as the Breeze, so browsing through the threads related to the Breeze should give you a pretty fair idea.

We were on the inaugural voyage of the Star Legend last month. This reply is too late to help you, but we found her to be beautiful! Very pleased with the cruise experience. We've identified a cruise next summer to go on; will book it this coming week.

Gnld, can you tell us more about the cruise? The first reviews have not been very positive and it's making me nervous since we've booked our first Windstar cruise on the Legend in October. I'm interested specifically in the food and less so, the service. I've been on the Legend when it was a Seabourn ship so I'm familiar with that aspect. Thanks.

In general, we were quite pleased with the quality of the food (my wife didn't like her entree one evening, but otherwise, just fine). However, at times it did take the galley staff quite a while to get it out to us. Not a waitstaff problem; kitchen. But give them a bit of time to work the kinks out and I'm sure it will be just fine (esp. for your October voyage). Some "birthing pains" as the captain said in his cruise summary the last day. The ship (pardon, yacht) looks just great! I'd sail on her again - in fact, we booked a July '16 circumnavigation of Iceland cruise today on the Star Legend!
