Bringing on Guests?

I know that Princess has a program where for a fee you can bring a guest aboard while the ship is in port. Does RCI have a similar program? Our Anthem sailing docks at Port Canaveral where we are meeting my parents. It would be awesome if we could bring them aboard for the day. If anyone has ever done this, I would love to find out how to go about arranging it.

Royal has no guest program.

Bummer. I would think they would just so they could capitalize on something else.

I believe there are security concerns and that is why no guests are allowed.

The Princess program you are referring to is, I believe, the "Bon Voyage Experience"? That is not for passengers to bring guests onboard, it is only for people who want a tour of the ship to be able to pay and tour on turn-around day, and it is only on certain vessels and certain ports.

You have to register in advance, and provide ID that will be screened before you are allowed on the ship. This is all to do with the ISPS security code, which all ships and ports must adhere to. It is even difficult for crew to visit from one ship to another from the same line, without prior approval from corporate headquarters.

They do this on turn-around day as there are no passengers manifested at this time.
