Sunshine American Table

Good question, she might come out with it (or possibly not due to being in Europe), but if she does not do when she comes over, then you could surmise that the program is dead. I doubt that will happen.

So will it be called the European Table when sailing Europe? ;)

I found this online awhile back and copied it to a word doc (so pardon how the formatting appears)::eek:

We sailed on the Glory 10/31 for 14 nights and did not like the American Table at all. Tablecloths are gone except on formal nights and your water glass-that you fill yourself from a decanter-drips all over your clothes when you drink.

Missing are the spoons as part of the place setting as well as butter knives.

It is lovely watching people reach for butter with the knife that they just cut their food with. Hope that they didn't lick it first.

  • 3 weeks later...
I just googled and found a write up on the new concept and if I'm reading it correctly, I'll be disappointed. I would like to see a more international menu rather than the same dishes I can get an most restaurants in my local area.

To me, a vacation is about experiencing something different... not the same thing with different scenery. Oh well.

Then You need to cruise on the Princess Regal. Make sure you like red beans, black beans, pork fried, grilled, boiled, rice, plantans.............................because most of the courses are a variation of those items. And make sure you like pepper sauce. Because most of it seemed to be dosed in it.

Perhaps they have changed their "'infusion"" menu. It was awful. The BUFFET.. huge and good. Afredos' free and good. did not do the Steakhouse or Sanbotini's as family was with us and we had a young grand child along.

I like the tablecloth. I like the water being poured with ice in it. I like the break basket being there and butter knives the ones to use at that time.

I like a menu. I like green salads. I like most everything about Carnival but I did not like American Table. Not at all.

Hope they keep Sunshine different.......DON"T put it on there.
