disembark time, time to airport

Sunshine arrives back in Port Canaveral 8:00 AM, part of our group has a flight at 11:30 AM at MCO....... what is the earliest they would be able to get off....

Self disembark may be a bit difficult, as there are young children involved and a lot of luggage...so if we went by the "number", deck or color coded tag system, what is the earliest?

If not, we will have to try self disembark and the rest of us help to get the luggage off....

First I would change the time to after 12:30PM . You arrive at 8AM the first people will start disembarking around 8:30AM. Try and get request a disembarkation time of 9AM .It will probably take about 45 minutes to clear immigration and collect your bags. It's about an hour to MCO airport . Security at MCO can be a zoo especially on a Saturday or Sunday.

What is the easliest time that Carnival recommends for a flight at MCO.

If the ship clearance is delayed for any reason you'll be rushed to make that flight.

Let me say that the answer is not early enough to make that flight.

You need to be at MCO by 9:30. You have a 45 minute drive from the time you get in the car. Which means in the car by 8:45. The only way that you can do that is if you are some of the very first to walk off. Using regular disembarkation you are not going to be off the ship before 9:00 at the very earliest.

Do you already have a transfer lined up that is going to get you to the airport by 10a, at the latest?

Sorry, but you HAVE to self disembark. It's week cruise- how much luggage do you really have to have? Pack lighter and do laundry.

Have back up plans, for not making the flight. KNOW, what kind of ticket you purchased, what happens if you don't make it, some you have to notify prior to the flight taking off. Do NOT expect to get out the same day, so, know what hotels you want to stay at with shuttles to/from the airport.

The only way I would try for an 11:30am flight would be if I were guaranteed the debarking started at 8am, which you cant, using self debark and I had a limo waiting to take me to MCO. I have flown out of MCO many times and you never know how long and how smoothly the TSA lines move. A 12:30pm or later flight would be more comfortable.

What about using luggage express ? Using it usually gets you escorted off the ship pretty early.

Luggage Express has time guidelines- that I'll bet, are outside with a 11:30a flight.

And it isn't a "fast" service, they wait until full buses are loaded. It is a "convenience" service only.

did b2b and got off saturday. On first part they had called alll then numbers bby about 940 but that does not mean people are through customs. When we got off Sat they were letting people off about 720 but did not really start calling numbers until 8 am, You can go to guest services and prob get a low number. But I like to gamble but I would not have a flight that early. It is 45 minute trip in a car . TSA lines can be long in orlando.I have been sitting at MCO at 930 but I would not deal with the stress.
