Double Dip for OBC? CCL Stock and GAP Group Perks?

Hello,

I'm sailing this summer with a group, we are getting OBC and other perks because we are a large group. I'm base that the CCL OBC bonus can't be combined with any other offers or deals.

Does anyone know if group credits would prevent me from getting CCL stock ownership on board credit dollars?

Also, if anyone has traveled on the Eurodam recently and gambled a bit, it would be great to hear your feedback on the gaming facilities.

You heard wrong. CCL OBC's can be combined wth other OBC's. Enjoy your cruise!

Welcome to cruise critic! You can have multiple OBC.

For our upcoming cruise we have a sizeable amount of OBC from various promotions and had no trouble getting the Carnival stock credit applied as well.

We have used our stockholder credit combined with a variety of different HAL promotions, never have been refused yet.

Thanks, everyone! I bought 50 shares of CCL at opening his morning at $44.91 and now it's $43.64. I'm tracking to see if it goes under $43 and I'll pick up the remaining 50 shares. But, I may wait even longer since the 52 week low is $42.51. Anyone know why it's dropped so much?

Overall market has been terrible since Jan 1. Then RCL reported weak earnings going forward. Finally, concerns over reduced bookings due to the new virus and terrorism threats.

Forgot - also strong dollar.

It may depend on the type of Amex Platinum. We were unable to get some type of benefit - can't remember what - because we had an "airline" Amex Platinum (Delta).

American Express Platinum OBC is only good if you book through American Express or an American Express travel agency. It's not been "stackable" with anything other than the Carnival stock OBC in several years. It's spelled out in the fine print on your Amex documentation. The Amex Platinum benefits are minimal compared with a few years ago.
