Hello ladies,

Can I ask if any of you have had any problems taking your curling tongs etc onboard a costa ship specifically? I've been on NCL with no problems but couldn't find any definitive answer on these fab boards for Costa.

Thank you in anticipation.

Oh and Any gents who use them are welcome to reply as well 😉

I always put my straighteners in big suitcase - never hand luggage as I know someone who had them confiscated.

When I use my straighteners in the cabin I always put them away before I go out so that the cabin steward doesn't see them.

Nothing comes between a gal and her straighteners!! :)

The rules state no electrical items.

That said in todays ships that mainly applies to irons & the like. As Caspall said above put them in your suitcase just in case they are taken from you in the hand luggage screened when boarding & keep them out of sight when not in use. Although it is very rare these small electrical items will be any danger to the ship, but please do not leave them on & go to breakfast, like some do, with all sorts of things.
