Just Booked My First SS Cruise!

I just made a booking for the maiden season of Silver Muse. This will be my first cruise with SS. I hope everyone on this board is friendly! :D I have a lot of experience with Crystal, Regent, Celebrity and Azamara, so I'll look forward to asking the veterans on here questions. We made this booking because it's a new ship, and SS offers their compete 2017 itineraries already - Seabourn and Regent take too long - and we like to line everything up two years out. Excited to be on this board and learning about SS!

We booked our 1st SS a little over a month ago, also. We are doing a British Isles in May 2017 and liked the fact that we could make our choice so far in advance. We really loved this itinerary which has a few overnights in select cities. Cheers!

Hello Michael. We're embarking on our first SS cruise later this month. I appreciate seeing the 2017 itineraries early, as well. We've naught booked after July 2016 ... So we could be shopping, all else being equal.

Yes, it is on Whisper and I think it is May 22 2017. We are currently on a New Zealand cruise and met Michael on the cruise prior in S. Pacific as we are doing a B2B. Enjoy your Amazon cruise and look forward to your review:)

Just got my booking confirmation from my TA today, which always excites me! I think it's a sickness that I am depressed if I don't have a whole folder on my desktop containing PDFs of bookings two years out :)

Just a couple of quick questions to get my feet wet here...

Entertainment-wise, does SS offer production shows, as well as cabaret acts? I'm sure it's different in different ships, such as the Cloud and Muse. Also, is it true there will be no casino onboard the Muse? It's my nightly ritual, though, it would save me a lot of money if there isn't one.

Also, dress code....we are just as comfortable doing super formal as we are country club casual. Has SS gone the way of more relaxed in the evenings, or is it holding on to a formal environment?

One thing the SS group do not need to worry about....We both understand appropriate attire ;-)....look forward to possibly meeting both of you again on future cruises.
