Making Changes to Promo Perks - Tahiti

Hi all,

I realize the T&Cs for the Tahiti promo (air & hotel inclusions) say there are no deviations, but I was hoping to fly in a day early and book my own hotel (the IC) using points/free night instead of their hotel (Le Meridien). Has anyone had any success getting Wind Star to allow them to fly in early/get OBC for hotel promo instead of using it?

Have you tried calling WS and asking if you can change the reservation? Possibly change to where you just pay for the cruise itself and not the hotel?

Just to follow up, I did call and the promo is non changeable. The promo works out to a good deal but if you want to add on time before or after the cruise, you are booking your own air, hotel and transfers and can't use the promo.

I called also. And I was told that there were no deviations allowed. We signed up for cruise only and booked our own air and a day early and 3 nights after the cruise.

I believe we will do the same as we want to fly Air France and stay after the cruise for a few days.

If I may ask, without imposing on the monetary details of what you spent, the difference in price with perks/without perks in percentage?

If we wanted the "free perk" on our cruise the price went up $770.
