Cruise Global Savor Local - worth it?

I did Savor Local on my cruise in June as as guinea pig, gratis. I really enjoyed the experience. It was a full day. A tour of Chania in Crete with a guide (nice because I saw parts I hadn't seen on previous visits) then to the local market and a bite to eat and drink there. The chefs then bought the food and we had some pictures taken. We had a tour of the local winery in the afternoon (small and quality) with one of the sommeliers and the bar manager and then a meal in the evening with Chef Monica cooking the fish and other food that had been bought. I missed this very last part as I got back late from a very hot Crete and it clashed with White Night. As I said a full day and at this price quite expensive, but it was a lot of fun.
