Jere Ring-Piano Player

Does anyone know the recent whereabouts of Jere? We really enjoyed his playing(and personality) on the Star Princess back in 2002.

Vacation Nut...now that you mention it, I remember it WAS on the Grand, not the STAR that we saw Jere. Thanks.

derf5585...thanks for the links. Yes, that is Jere's picture alright. I imagine he keeps busy whether on or off a ship icon_smile.gif

We were on the Dawn....I believe.. from Aculpulco to San Diago, a couple of years ago when we were priviledged to listen every night to Jere. He was really something else.

When we booked our cruise to Alaska, which is in three weeks, we were sure wishing he would be on our ship. Guess there is no chance of that.

We would actually book a cruise if he was going to be on it...just to hear him.

Jere had a friend named Marilyn ? with him on board. She had been the original "Cat Woman" in Batman. She also could sing and had a great personality.

We especially got a kick out of Jere's "reviews" of what folks were wearing on formal nights.

"BARB & JOHN"...Yes, we also got a real kick out of that part of Jere's repertoire.People would be walking by and all of a sudden Jere would stop singing(but keep playing), and critique their outfits, or just make some off-the-wall comment. Caught them totally off guard icon_biggrin.gif
