Papeete to Moorea

The Wind Spirit arrives back in PPT at 10:00 am on Friday, May 6th. We are then going to Moorea. I noticed the Aremiti Ferry's leaves in the afternoon (around 3:00 p.m). Is there any other ferry's leaving sooner. Another option would be to fly over. Air Tahiti flyies over at 11:45 a.m. I am not sure that would give me enough time to get to the airport. Any other options?? Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

I think that taking the ferry would not only be easier, but cheaper. They ferry departs within walking distance from the cruise port.

From the Aremeti website, it looks like they have a 12:45pm departure. There is also the Terevau ferry that has an 11:30am departure. If I were you, don't book anything in advance, get off the ship, head to the ferry dock, and see which company has the next boat out. It will not be very difficult.

There are two ferry companies running frequent car/passenger ferry services between Papeete near cruise pier to Moorea . Crossing takes around 45 minutes .
