Two New Ships for Costa Asia (China)

Carnival Corp has annouced that Costa Asia will be getting two new ships, so that will make up the planned 6 ship far east fleet, tegether withAtlantica, Victoria, Serena and Fortuna.

Darn! I was hoping that these larger ships would have more larger cabins for 5 like Diadema does and would sail closer to home i.e. the Med, Baltic or Norway! China is a tad too long haul for us! :)

Then maybe they will let us travel on them. I have been looking for an Asia cruise and still looking! Our travel times are a bit limited to sort of Australian school holidays but we can be flexible. Im not sure exactly how it works but the ships currently there are charted by TA's and are not available to book for those that are not Chinese- or if they are I can't find them!

I just want to sail around warm Asia- have been seriously considering Princess!

Who knows what the situation will be in 2020 when the new ships enter service? Unless they're being specially fitted for the China market which I'm told is notorious for heavy smoking and heavy gambling, and not much else.
