Transatlantic from Barcelona to Brazil

Hello All

We're on the FASCINOSA leaving Barcelona on 2nd December 2016 for an 18 day cruise to Brazil. Our first TA and looking forward to it.

Has anyone else done this particular cruise, please? We're wondering if Costa put on more cultural events during the sea days and what might be on offer? Perhaps we'll need to take several books to read.

Also, we normally take the AI drinks package but are thinking of not doing so this time. We've never paid that much attention on our previous Costa Cruises

to the price of a bottle of wine in the MDR (or the price of a glass of wine if it is available?) and would like to have some idea of their charges and if there are ever any special promotions on offer?

All comments and your experience would be gratefully received.

Many thanks

Hello Bobbingbob. We did this same cruise on the Fascinosa but in reverse, sailing from Santos to Venice. They did have some promotions on wine throughout the voyage but can't remember the cost. I don't think they had any extra special events other than the crossing the line ceremony. (Equator) but we were never bored and enjoyed the cruise very much.

Hope this helps and we wish you a very pleasant voyage. Happy cruising. :)
