Please, please, please close your blinds when you change. We just got off this morning and we were in the main hot tubs last night when a young thing was changing way up there oblivious to the (thankfully mostly empty) pool deck below. We almost died laughing when we spotted her in Medusa later that evening. Have fun!!

11:30 pm Sunday

I'm the first one up to our suite for the night. I left the girls down in the casino. Not to bad had a few hits. Kept me playing.

I need to say Omar our conceirge is the best ever. He keeps checking on us. Asked what we wanted for dinner and we had him make Dessie's at LaCucina for 5:30. When we got there door was locked and no one around. We called Omar and he checked for some reason it wasn't opening tonight until 6. He kept apologizing. In no way was it his fault. We were hungry so decided to go to the blue we were hungry so decided to go to the blue lagoon. All of a sudden a bottle of wine shows up from him. Then 5 minutes later he came to our table to apologize again. Very nice of him. Dinner was quick and good. We had every appetizer they had on the menu and soup all around. Then we all ordered some kind of entree. Our butler is Pedro. I have yet to determine how he is. He doesn't compare to our last butler on the gem so far but we have a whole week to figure it out.

After dinner we hit the casino....surprise surprise lol

Anyway I'm up here enjoying the villa and ready to close my eyes.

12:48 am Day 2

Today we woke around 7 am. Our butler brought our coffee and chocolate croissants so yummy. We were all entered in the casinos at sea beach party tournament. None of us did will me doing the worst. Our sessions were between 9-9:30. So we headed down to the casino. After the tournament played a little then went for breakfast and decided to take a nap. Little did I know it would turn into a 3 hour nap. Guess I needed it. The ship was moving so fast we couldn't enjoy our outside deck and hot tub. We later found out there is a medical emergency so we need to get to Cozumel ASAP. We are docking now at 1:00 am instead of in the morning. The casino closed at midnight. We are off to the casinos at sea beach party tomorrow. Can't wait for that. Oh I had some luck today.

Thanks for all the info CasinoCruzGirl! I love suites, I'm sure you are loving it too! I'll be on the Jade at the end of the December (alas, not a suite, lol), thanks for all the great pics and info!

PS I saw the Jade NCL spirits list 2016 bar pic on another forum if the other person is still looking, search for Ultimate Beverage Package I think is how I found it.

We've been bad about posting updates!

We're having a blast, did the Casinos at Sea beach party in Cozumel, which was fun. Maya Chan in Costa Maya and LOVED it! So great!

I stayed onboard in Roatan, the girls wandered around a bit.

Today in the cabana at Harvest Caye, they're spoiling us here too. Cabanas are awesome, though really pricey. Harriet wanted the cabana, so we're doing all of the things that she wanted to do.

Geri will post pics later. Everyone is losing every day in the casino, and they don't seem to be tracking our points very well either.

Having a great time, great girls :)

Maya chan was awesome. Rustic and homey. Cost was $50 which included transport to and from port drinks taco bar which was delicious. Highly recommended.

Today as Sally said we are in harvest cay at our cabana. Very hot out but we can go inside cabana for some AC.

We have eaten at Tepanyaki, Asian restaurant and La Cucina and blue lagoon. Also ordering lunch from butler.

Gorgeous pictures, thank you for sharing.

I gamble on cruises, sometimes frequently and other trips rarely. Do I have to sign up for a players card or similar like I would for a Vegas casino to get casino room rate offers? Can my significant other and I be on the same one or combine for offers? Since I do more tables than slots do those get tracked to help with room rate offers too?

We will be on a 10 day on the Jade in January with 4 sea days so I foresee time being spent in the casino.

As we were leaving harvest cay yesterday we were at the exit waiting for golf carts they have to take u back to ship. As we were waiting there was about 50 people also waiting and when a cart came he had to turn around. He kept saying back up back up back up so we all kept backing up. Unknown to me there was a concrete cannon about 1 ft high and 2 ft wide and as I backed up I completely fell backwards over it. It was like slow motion I knew I was falling and couldn't stop. I layed there in shock and people came rushing over telling me not to move. Thank god sally was with me. All I kept hearing her say is OMG she already has a bad back. I layed there all discombobulated my one shoe went flying off my beach cover up flying all over my bag wrapped around my neck covered in dirt and gravel. Some man out a towel over my legs and one under my head and a nurse appeared quickly asking me if I could feel my legs and move them. Thankfully I could and did not hit my head how I don't know. They sent for a cart that was lower so I could get in then several men helped me up and got me in the cart back to ship. A wheelchair was waiting for me and Sally and I was taken to medical. Dr was very nice. They gave me a shot of inflammatory pain meds and some Tylenol with codenie to take with me for pain. I have been in a lot of pain since my fall and will go to my dr when I get home. They need more organization and get those cannons the hell out of there.

We are home safe and sound. Geri's having her back and her leg looked at, she fell so hard, was airborn for a few seconds, so is having a hard time.

We all lost our rear ends in the casino, it was really bad, but the last day was a bit better for Mindi and I.

Had a blast, wifi didn't work a lot of the time, so we struggled to keep things updated. Time flew by, 1 week really isn't long enough.

Thanks for following along, let us know if you have any questions about the Villa or Cabana, or anything else.

I really appreciate y'all taking the time to post. I had no doubt you would have a great time.; Harriet was pleased, I'm sure, especially since you focused on what she wanted to do. :-)

Sorry you didn't fare better in the casino. Is it similar to Pearl's in size and variety?

Some friends and I have the GV booked a 10-day on the Jade in Jan '18. I'm really looking forward to it. We did the Pearl and, like you, didn't feel 7 days was enough in the GV. When one of us wins a lottery JP, we're going to do a couple of months in one!

Would you do the cabana again? Was the price discounted due to the 5 hour time frame?

Geri....have you fully recovered? That must have been awful; not the kind of memories you want in an otherwise great cruise.

Thanks for all of the information. Staying in 14000 in April after drydock so will post pics to show comparison. Wanted to find out about beach that cabana's are on, is there a suite only part to the beach or can only cabana renters be on that beach? We have a total of 13 people coming on our cruise and aren't able to get more than 1 cabana but wanted family to be able to sit at beach with us. I know the beach in front of cabanas at private cay in Bahamas allowed everyone access. Thanks for helping and getting us more excited about our cruise. Hope we have same concierge-Donna

I don't know any of you personally but have followed your reviews for the last few years. I have spent a lot of time in NCL casinos and it seems my luck has really faded. I'm not a table person but prefer video poker where I know the ship pay tables are awful. I always used to squeak out a pretty good win here or there though but not lately.

Anyway, glad you enjoyed most of your cruise. I feel for you Geri with your fall. Coming back from the Epic Transatlantic in November I fell at the airport in Orlando. I'm mid 60's but have not so great knees and have had several falls over the past few years. At the airport I was put through a vigorous screening because (stupid of me) I had on a shirt with sparkly metal stuff on it. It set the machine off like crazy. That along with my metal knees had me at security forever. Anyway, I was going back for a total pat down when I just tripped or whatever and fell backwards. I hit my side hard and was totally bruised. Of course, I was by myself so after the staff and I determined I was ok to walk I left the area. Somehow I ended back up in the general boarding area (I was hurting, crying and just so disoriented) and had to go back through security again. How is that possible? Anyway, the staff remembered me of course and and I had to go through everything again.

I found my way to my gate but had about 3 hours to kill. Of course I had a bulky carry on so I just stayed put as much as possible. I had been on the Getaway last year and fell when two people pushed me off the end of the moving stairway with bags on either side of them. Luckily I had a friend there to help me that time.

Anyway, hope you are feeling better. I am off to the Epic again in February for a back to back, one week with DH and the second week for a Casino tournament cruise by myself. Hope I can keep upright!
