Booking Palo once Onboard?

I'm cruising on the Fantasy on Oct 24 and was looking at pre-booking Palo for dinner one night. However all of the good times look to be long gone. Do they hold some times back for onboard bookings, or am I best just taking the best of whats left?

Also there are some conflicting reports on Palo dinner prices, can anyone confirm the current cost? Oddly enough I couldn't find it on the Disney site, I'm sure that was my fault but hey, never hurts to ask :)

They do hold some back, I think only about 1/2? are prebooked? You do want to take care of it as soon as you board...

Yes, they do hold back a number of slots for booking onboard. That being said, it's best to go ahead and book something. We've found it's easier to "change" an already existing reservation than to get a new one.

Current price for Palo (brunch and dinner) is $30. The price is generally only visible when you are making a reservation there (once your booking window opens). However, it's a "recent" price increase, and I think they've put "to be determined" or something like that in the spot where the cost is because those people who already had reservations when the price increased are being charge the "old" price, while new reservations (yes, on the same cruise) are being charged the "new" price.

As above, it is easier to change a reservation once on board than to make a new one from scratch (they are more willing to negotiate with you!) So if there is something available take it...and then move it after boarding. On the Fantasy, the place for Palo reservations is typically at Palo and/or in Royal Court restaurant but check the Welcome Aboard navigator that you can get in the terminal to be sure or ask the CM who escorts you from the door as you board the ship.
