Incredibly, Silversea cruises into the heart of London is on the increase - great news for me as my office window has great views of the ships when docked at Tower Bridge.

In 2017, Silver Wind has 6 visits and Silver Cloud 1 visit.

In 2018, Silver Wind has 5 visits, Silver Cloud Expedition 1 visit and Silver Spirit is coming to Greenwich 2 times.

I'm spoilt for choice for Lunch visits in the next 2 years! :D

Hopefully this info is of use for anyone else popping on for lunch or watching her berthed or coming under Tower Bridge - always such a wonderful experience. And take a trip up the sky garden for a wonderful view from above

Yes!!! Will be in London Sept 18 for our Sept 20 cruise out of Southampton. Will be waving Silver Wind!!! Thanks for the heads up.

Why not go one better and book lunch on the Wind - and get the tender over and enjoy the food and views (@$60)

If not - make sure you make a booking for the sky garden to enjoy great views of the ship below and of London - for free. (No point in paying £38 to go up the Shard - Sky Garden is free - but you need to pre book - usually 3 weeks before.... and dates are released each Monday morning.

Looking again at those timings.....

11 June 2017 silver cloud and silver wind should pass each other round about Greenwich I'd think. There are just so many places I'd like to be on that day! Tower Bridge, Greenwich and Dartford Bridge to video with the drone.

Les...

Maybe we should all buy a box lunch and eat at your office...

:-)

Yikes .... I love the view but I try my best to be somewhere else! lol I'll lend you my pass. :-)

That's an incredible number of lifts!!! Unfortunately there is only one of me ... and am intending on viewing and videoing from the shard. So can watch the cloud near enough the whole journey to Greenwich and the Wind coming in from that location..... including the turnaround which is easily visible and not far at all from Tower Bridge.

Sailing up the Thames to Tower Bridge is a blast. "Get out on the bow," said Ray, our cruise director, "Not to be missed!" Indeed. My wife (ever the intrepid one) grabbed a chair and started hauling it to the bow. Of course, they grabbed it and took it up for her. I came down for coffee with Bailey's, and of course they had to deliver that. Then they brought blankets. Then they brought glasses and Champagne. So, while all these people on apartment balconies are waving at us (and their kids are jumping up and down), there we were toasting back at them. Indeed.

We were docked for two nights at Tower Bridge, so in the morning we dragged our table out on our balcony, and had breakfast in our robes, waving at the people on the ferries.
