I've seen "invitations" to gatherings for solo travelers on SOME cruises, but not all. If you happen to be on a cruise that doesn't provide something like that you could always check with the concierge or cruise director and ask for one to be arranged.

 

No guarantees, though.

I have not sailed solo myself but know people who have done so

 

The social hostess usually will arrange a dinner for the solo passengers to meet one cruise I noticed 3 tables of 8 all solo passengers

not sure if they do other specials things for the solo cruisers

last cruise one lady mentioned they did have a meeting for the solo people we dined with 2 ladies that were solo

one went to the meeting & enjoyed chatting with the others the other lady said she could not be bothered to go she was quite happy just to chat with anyone solo or not ;)
