Life happens. Due to family emergency we will not be able to board the Quest 18 Apr in Barcelona.

The best we can do is arrive in Pisa and meet the ship in Livorno

BUT is is possible to board there??

Frustrating ... there is no one at Azamara to help us on a Sunday !! Tried every number I can locate only to hear they are closed on Sunday

Thought travel was 24/7

Azamara is always closed on Sunday, and after noon or so ET on Saturday; not all wholesale (or retail for that matter) travel companies are open 24/7. I know of several land based wholesale companies that are closed Sundays

I did find an Emergency contact number !! Reached an extremely helpful representative . Yes, we can join the ship in Pisa She informed us as to the procedure. WHEW What a morning.

I'm glad you reached someone to ease your worries today.

Though I'm sorry you'll miss a couple days onboard :(

Thanks everyone. The Emergency contact was in the documents but not where it Popped up at you.

Trying to find a flight any where was the problem: expensive and over crowded with only the dreaded middle seat Surprisingly BA had 2 business seats using miles on ONE flight to Pisa 2 days before Quest arrives. Figured that was meant to be. Found some quaint hotels !

Will miss those days on the ship but....Life Happens.

Indeed life happens....as unfortunately I know only too well recently! :(

I hope everything goes OK for you and if you have spare time in Livorno then do consider a visit to beautiful Lucca. It's fairly easy to get there by train from Livorno...you change trains at Pisa.

Thanks We have not been in Pisa since the 1970's !! Should be fun to have free time there. Our travel agent checked with Azamara and all should be in order for us. 40 cruises and never "Missed the boat"

Another learning experience. There is always Plan B
