Cruise Next Certificate-OBC Refundable?

Am contemplating buying a cruise next certificate on my upcoming cruise, but wanted to find out if the OBC is refundable or non-refundable?

It is non-refundable. But usually there's nothing left to refund, anyway, because the CruiseNext deposit costs $250.

I don't know what happens if you have a lot of refundable OBC, if they subtract the cost of the deposit from that and then leave you with non-refundable OBC on your account.

It's non-refundable OBC but you use it toward the cruise next certificate itself. So 1 costs $150 ( $250 minus $100 OBC), 2 cost $250 ($500 minus $250 OBC).

Your folio will carry a debit of $250 (for 1) and a credit of $100 so you will actually be paying $150. The idea of OBC is a way of NCL trying to make you spend it on board.
