Choosing side of the ship for Bermuda cruise on the Breakaway

It's impossible to say for sure, as it varies from week to week.

The only given is that port side will get the NYC skyline on the sail out of New York. Many folks are out on deck at this time anyway, but if you prefer a quiet sailaway on your balcony, it may come into play.

I thought it was starboard side for NYC skyline. Doesn't matter to us though - we'll be in an aft cabin:cool:.

Wondering if there is a preferred side? What are the views? Also, does anyone know the website that can tell you how many ships will be in port at the same time? Thanks in advance.

The view from the side to the shore would be the Dockyard which is non-industrial, and also a great view of the sunset. The view from the water side would be the Great Sound with the North Shore in the distance.

There are no bad views when docked at the Dockyard.

We have sailed the Breakaway numerous times to Bermuda. We have stayed starboard (view of Statue of Liberty) and each time we docked looking out at the beautiful water not Dockyard. That said it is all a dice roll.
