"print luggage tag" button appeared, but still no room assignment

The message previously was the luggage tags were not available. Just want to ask if 1. its typical to print a luggage tag without a room assignment and 2. if I should just wait to print until a room assignment does appear.

I booked a guarantee cabin. We sail in a few weeks.

It makes no sense to print luggage tags without a cabin assignment. Luggage tags are used to direct your luggage to your cabin. Don't worry about it. Just have luggage tags attached when you arrive at embarkation if you can't print them yourself. Printable tags will be part of your "edoc" package; online or through your travel agent.

I would try to print the tags - they may in fact have your cabin assignment.

Well, opened my edocs. Cabin still listed as "GTY" category "X." No room assignment on the luggage tag portion, so the wait continues... Oh well, any of the rooms will be fine, and it really makes no difference if I don't get an assignment until I get to the pier. On the bright side, the classic beverage package is now showing up in my order history!

You could try calling Celebrity directly.

We have 3 cabins and do not have gty. I've had the cabin numbers since we booked the cruise. We completely the e-docs and set sail pass, but it still says the luggage tags are not available yet. I'm going to call Celebrity in a few days to see what the problem is. We sail in June.

That's my plan. I hate trying to call and get information from them. :(
