Informal Nights on QV

Curious what other cruisers experience has been with men passengers wearing neck ties on the informal nights? Cunard literature just states a jacket must be worn and many of the promotional photos show the men in open collared shirts with a sports jacket. Wasn't planning on bringing ties, but wanted to get a reality check about the informal nights. :)

Some men wear an open necked shirt with their jacket and others still choose to wear a tie. You will be fine whichever you choose.
