Getting chef table CHEAP.

heading out on allure sept 3. I've booked the specialty dinning package for all 7 nights. Been a couple years since we have done chefs table and was interested in doing it again. That being said, we decided to put our money towards the dining package. I've scored discounted admission prices to the restaurants by accident. Walking down to look at menu rt before dinner, stopping to confirm a another place, sometimes just sheer luck. Over read where some can snag a discounted meal at chefs table on first night. So my question, do I mention it to the person who will be booking all of my dinners once I board? Or who do I let know we would be willing to fill up a spot? Thanks

We happened to be up in the Suite Lounge and were approached by the Chef's Table host. He offered us a substantial discount to do Chef's Table on the first night, which we did.

I was offered a discount in Vintages by the bartender. She called the beverage manager to come talk to us and he booked it for us.

We have been approached while sitting at Trellis bar. The offer was 2 for 1 on the first night.

We were offered a discount on CT when we were killing time during embarkation at the SL. It was for any night.

On the Legend Panama Canal cruise a few years ago, we were offered 1/2 price for the second night. We did the first night at full price. Different menu on the 2nd night. Yummy!

Dining package gets you 20% off Chef's Table. As mentioned above, there have been reports of half-price being offered. Seems to be most often done on the first night.
