RCI Crown and Anchor status reciprocation

I've sailed with RCI a number of times and am currently looking at my first Azamara cruise. Does anyone know how I ensure my C&A status is reciprocated - do I just use my C&A number when I book or do I need to join the Azamara scheme and then somehow link the two? Any advice gratefully received!

I emailed Le Club Voyage and provided them with our C&A numbers, and they responded with membership numbers for LCV.
