Registered for paid upgrade, but booked cruise w/lg. warehouse. Chances?

We booked our February Baja cruise with a large, wholesale warehouse agency. We booked a balcony. It appears the balconies are all booked up now. So, what are the chances they'll be offering the paid upgrades - less or more of a chance? And would we be contacted directly from Azamara or will it have to go through the wholesaler? They're not good about maintaining communication, and I'd hate to lose the opportunity simply because I booked using that national warehouse chain.

Your TA will probably be contacted with paid upgrades.

The chance comes from how many suites they have left by the time they start looking at upgrades. Typically this takes place three to four weeks before your cruise. If there are no N1 or N2 categories left they may offer you a larger Suite if they are still available, but these will cost more than the $398 normal upgrade fee. Factor in when you applied and what LCV level you are too. As the previous poster said the request if it comes will be done via your travel partner.

We booked our cruise (August. 29) with a big warehouse agency and was offered an upgrade through our TA about 1 month before we sailed.
