Looking for route to take rental car from Livorno!

Hello - we are renting a car in Livorno right by the ship and I am having a hard time finding directions and recommendations for a great route!

We will have a car back to back weeks so 2 route suggestions would be great!

We want to see the best Hill towns and need suggestions.

I'm not clear about what you are asking. Are you looking for suggestions for a port day, drive-yourself tour of the area or will you be staying in the area for a while?

Looking for a driving route and town suggestions from Livorno.

Have already been to Lucca, Pisa and Florence and to Hill towns once, but I can't remember what towns we saw as I didn't drive!

Okay. I'd head to Siena, a fabulous city on a hill less than two hours from Livorno by car. You could easily spend the entire day there, but if you need a second stop you could hit Volterra or San Gimignano on the way back.

On the second day you could do a tour of the Chianti region, if that's of interest. Or, for something completely different, you could head south to the Maremma.
