Thomas Cook Baggage extra

Tried calling Thoms cook a c few times to add extra baggage to our fly cruise

they have upgraded there system and can't book extra luggage at present.

its a shambles you would think a company as large as Thomas cook would test software upgrades before rolling out.

any body else having problems?

When are you flying? It's easy to purchase extra weight, but you can't do it until 5 days prior to your outbound flight. This is because P&O don't transfer the list of confirmed passenger names to the airline until just before this. The airline needs the list so that it can apportion your extra weight allowance to your booking. Just call 5 days prior, or 4 days, whenever suits, and buy your increased allowance. It will be confirmed by email immediately; no need to fret - it's very straightforward in my experience.

Flying this Saturday been told to try again on Friday
