E Cigarette Policy

We have just booked a cruise with C & M - starting from Bristol. We have just received the pre cruise information for Marco Polo, which helpfully tells us how to get to Newcastle or Tilbury, but not Bristol!

The other surprising piece of information is found on page 16 under smoking policy. "E cigarettes or similar are not permitted for use on board."

My husband has weaned himself off tobacco completely and finds e cigs very helpful. Does he have to just suffer or is this cruise going to drive him back to the dreaded tobacco again. We are talking 32 nights! I really don't want to see him back on the cigarettes. This just seems bonkers. He is quite happy to only "vape" in the smoking areas, so why such a firm line on e cigs?
