We are booked for Feb 2018 CapeTown to Singapore with ports that include Madagascar and the Maldives. They may be doing it in 2019 as well as the Sojourn schedule was just released. It seems to be pretty popular as our cruise is pretty well booked.

Whether or not some/many of the ports are new to Seabourn, the ports I see on the TA announcement about the April-June, 2019 Sojourn cruises are new and exciting to me.

I note 3 in China, 2 in ROK, 8 in Japan, one in Russia, and 5 in Alaska before Vancouver.

This is a sure winner. Well done, Seabourn!

Happy and healthy sailing!

We had 2 ports in South Korea (and got to visit the DMZ), 6 ports in China (3 days/2 nights in Shanghai, and 1.5 days/1 night for Beijing) plus overnight in Hong Kong, 2 ports in Taiwan, 12 ports in Japan, and 3 ports in Alaska (including Kodiak) on the Sojourn this past April and May. It was an amazing trip. We loved Japan and also Shanghai. In Shanghai, we were docked in downtown and could walk to the Bund. Seabourn service was excellent and we saw many familiar faces. We had some minor blips with a couple of meals but the majority were well above average and/or outstanding. We were, however, disappointed with the very limited lunch menu in the MDR.

My TA was familiar with the new release and my interest in booking 2019 a few days ago. So if your TA does not advise you of new itineraries they are not doing their job or maybe they are not specialists in Seabourn's offerings.

Then 4 days ago the pricing was released by Seabourn and the TA. Yesterday seabourn.com was fully updated with all details; it might have been 2 days ago but I did not check then. So never mind... go ahead and look today.

So to answer your question: there will always be animals with their snouts at the trough earlier than others so when the sluice opens they get the first guzzle.

Happy and healthy sailing!

Hi Chairsin

We are booked for that trip as well. Just sorting visas out now. Any idea who may the CD on board?

Happy cruising.

No. I did ask Jan when I was recently with her in Alaska and she told me that she will be returning to Antarctica on the Quest for the winter season. Guess we will have to bide our time and see if we get some info as the cruise draws nearer.
