Carnival Ocean Plays Club

I've read a couple of old threads on this subject but wondered if any recent cruisers have any updates/insider knowledge?

I will be taking my 3rd Carnival cruise (and 3rd within 12 months) in 12 days (Miracle out of LA). Wondered what I might expect as I'm a Brit. I have never receivedf any 'offers'. Earned my 'Drink on Us' card at day 4 on the last cruise. No, I'm not a high roller but the last cruise was at least kind to me.

I've e-mailed in to the club to see if they offer to non-US residents but wondered about insight from here.

Did also get the steakhouse upgrade in MDR for the last night on the last cruise - but that might be because I was on Splendor straight after her issues and we weren't on our itinerary but went to The Bahamas instead. They put on Chris Rock (didn't go to see him) and a couple of 'extras' in the bingo to help the disappointment of re-itinerising (is that even a word?).

Oh, seeing as bingo is gambling, does that count too?

Any insights helpful. TY in advance.

Have a cruise coming up on Ecstasy thats a 50$ fun chip plus other things Emailed them to ask a question and hint hint its my 35 anniversary. nice reply but no promises,, will let you all know when I get back if anything extra. Dosnt cost anything to ever let them know you are going. Will do my usual quick review of the highlights.

I've never heard of bingo counting toward gambling perks on Carnival, so I'm pretty sure that question's answer is no; that doesn't count for anything.

I agree with the other post that 5,000 points earned in the casino is a great starting point to earn future casino perks; however, you may earn the "drinks on us" card for less depending on the length of your cruise.

And I've never heard of nationality playing a role in casino perks earned (if I understood your question correctly).

Hope you have a great cruise!

How can I find out how many points I have? I gamble - a lot - on each cruise. Even use my SS card to draw chips at the tables (very seldom do I play the slots, although I did win the Slot Tourney on the Triumph in Aug and am playing in the finals on the Magic in May). The only points I ever saw on the card when I would put it in a machine was how much $$ I had to cash out.
