Ncl Gem 2017 captain indentity

Does anyone know how to find out who the Captain and cruise director of NCL Gem will be for March 2017 cruise? Thank you

It is WAY to early to know that information.

The two Captains for The Gem rotate every 10 weeks.

A Cruise Director's contact is normally 4 months in length.

With a new ship to staff in late February to early March, staffing for that will partly come from every ship in the Norwegian system. Very hard to say where any staff member in March could be.

There should a new thread begun in early 2017 with current information if people returning from cruises will keep it updated.

Good to know Thank you! Ive been on several ships and I was on the Gem before refurbished this past year. Can't wait to see the changes. The Captain at that time I was on was Captain Lars Bengsston and he was great! Funny, involved with some activities and just all around great listening with his intercom updates. I am hoping he will be back on his March. Time will tell I guess. Gio Artavia was director and planned good shows etc.. Last cruise I took over Dec was Breakaway and they had hardly and decent shows, minimal comedy on board and seemed like all trivia games instead. Worse activities ever on ship that I have been on. Unfortunately in June on the "getaway" that Director appeared and same problem no decent shows. Hoping the Gem ends up with Captain Lars and GIo again .

I can tell you that Captain Lars Bengtsson WILL NOT be on The Gem. He is currently one of the two Captains assigned to The Getaway.

Do not know where Gio is. The CD for The Gem is a young man named Alvin.
