afternoon tea

We have gone to free afternoon tea and enjoyed it. Is there a new tea that there is a charge for? Thanks for any information.

Same format is in the past but only 2 or 3 teas are free now. There are new premium flavored selection of teas that they charge for.

If you don't want Lipton or Green Tea, be prepared to pay $1.95 or bring your own.

Last November on the Elation there was no mention on any charges at tea time. But maybe cheap tea is good enough for me.

They just bring the "free" box around. If someone asks for a different kind, then they mention the ones for a fee and will bring those selections out.

Yesterday on the Magic, they brought out both boxes, the lipton or bigelow green tea were free, they also offered their new art of tea selections.

I brought my own but may tomorrow at tea time splurge.

Plenty of people attended.

Funny thing was the lipton tea were offered in the old bugelow boxes. :rolleyes:

Tea was still wonderful.

Do they have afternoon tea on Fantasy on the 5 day trips?

Also, I'm thinking neither of these 2 ships has the giant movie screen for MUTS. Is that correct?

On my January cruise, there was only Earl Grey and plain Lipton, no others were offered, fee or not. Pretty disappointed, no notice what-so-ever! So I will be taking some teabags with me on my next cruise, at least they don't take up much space :rolleyes:

On all Carnival ships it is on sea days only. So whatever sea day you have tea "should" be offered. And it has always been at 3pm.

on a Journey Liberty cruise, they started w/ the plain Lipton but then the Earl Grey, Dargeeling, etc. were offered, no charge. IDK if they ran out of their other 'upcharge' teas or had complaints, but that's how it happened. didn't do them all but IIRC tea was every sea day afternoon.
