Siversea Newbie

We have never sailed with Silversea before and are looking for tips and advice from seasoned travellers with this line.

We have booked on the Silver Shadow, Singapore to Hong Kong, with most port calls being in Vietnam Feb 2018.

We have only cruised three times before, all in the Yacht Club on MSC ships, are a couple in our early 60's.

One of my questions would be about smoking areas on board, and my wife's would be about the treatments available in the spa. Has anyone travelled MSC YC and Silversea to give us a comparison?

Smoking can be done outside on 1/2 of the outside area near the pool bar and some tables near the pool bar. They also have an indoor room that also sells cigars.

Spa treatments can be found on line in the My Silversea. You can also book treatments on line also. Spa treatments will be at additional coasts over and above your cruise fare.

I think there's also a smoking area aft outside the Panorama Lounge on the port side. Caveat is that's the way it is on the Wind and Spirit, never been on the Shadow.
