I know it's not one of the airlines listed, but does anyone know when Alaska will open up booking for June 2018? I looked all over their site and couldn't find anything.

Will be flying back on Southwest, so I will check their site to see when they will be opening June 18 up.

TIA!

I suspect Alaska won't announce any dates, whether on its website or elsewhere, because AFAIK it runs on the conventional system of always selling a fixed number of days.

Today, you can see Alaska schedules up to and including 16 February 2018. If I have got my maths right, that's 331 days ahead from today (or in other words, Alaska is selling a total of 332 days of flights at once).

Tomorrow, you will be able to see up to and including 17 February 2018. And so on.

Correct! After I posted here, I asked on their FB page. They say they start booking 330 days out. Guess I should have done that first. :D Thanks!

If this doesn't belong on this thread, please remove. Southwest opened schedules today. However, they have no flights leaving FLL after about 9:40 am. In their previous schedule there were many times in to the afternoon. Will they open afternoon flights later?

Southwest update:

We are currently accepting air reservations through January 7, 2018. On June 22, 2017 we will open our schedule for sale through March 7, 2018. This date is subject to change! Please check back frequently.

What dates? That seems odd. Where are you flying to?

We are flying to OKC, so there is always a connection to make. However, they show no connecting flights past the 9am time slot. When I ask for afternoon flights I get a message that says there are no flights in those parameters. I'll keep checking.

Not sure of shipster60's dates, but I did see on 12/31, 1/1 and 1/2, there are no flights available w/ Wanna Get Away fares, just Anytime and Business Select. Well, there was one flight on 1231 that was not sold out. The other two days it says unavailable, not sold out. Wonder if there maybe a football bowl game in OKC on those dates????

Sorry left off the date. It's nov23. Thanksgiving. You'd think if it was sold out it would say so. It just doesn't list any flights past 9:40 am.
Very weird, but on other Thursdays there are later flights. I'd give them a call.
I didn't do any detailed research, but what I did see on a quick look was that there certainly are later flights departing FLL on 23 November. The problem seems to be that there are no valid same-day connections to OKC from the next point (whichever that is), possibly because there are flights later in the afternoon that are not operating on that specific day alone (for obvious reasons). There are viable published connections from later departures from FLL, but they all involve an overnight stay at the connecting point.
