Short cruises America

Are there any firms that do short river cruises (a week or less) in America or Canada in August?

There is another thread on St Lawrence cruises that has some information.

Check out a company called American Cruise Lines. They do week long cruises on the Mississippi and Columbia Rivers.

American Queen Steamboat does week long Columbia River and Mississippi River cruises. American Cruise Line also does short cruises along the East Coast. Pearl Cruise Line does the Great Lakes. Received a brochure yesterday from a cruise line (can't remember the name but never heard of them before) that cruises the canals and rivers in the NE, like the Erie Canal.
