faulty goods

This is a long shot but some one may be able to help. Just returned from Thomson Dream. On board I bought a watch. Got it home to find it doesnt work. Any suggestions what I can do.

Sounds like a good reason to book another cruise to return it 😁 but seriously if you have the receipt and it's a good brand you could try a high Street jeweler, it may just be a new battery ask at Timsons to check it.

Disappointed with the Dream in all honesty. It was £100 so not a cheap one. I was frightened to do that in case it invalidate the warranty.

You should have got a guarantee with the watch and so along with your receipt I would send it to the manufacturer or address on the guarantee - after you've rung Thomson to see what they say of course - which should be interesting!! Not sure but someone else should know where to ring - after cruise services maybe?

I bought a watch on board another ship. The receipt was the guarantee and the company named on the receipt was a Bristol firm with it's address listed and not the cruise line. The shops/spas etc are just franchises. Have you got the receipt and does it have a firm and/or address? If so I think you need to contact them.

I have the receipt but all it has on it is "Thomson Dream. Broad Street shops". Any how been on to my local Thomson shop this morning and they have given me an email address to try. Watch this space

I thought Harding Retail (or Harding Bothers) based in Bristol ran the shops on the ships for UK based lines. A bit of googling might bring up a customer service contact.

Hope this is the same firm as you will be able to contact them directly. You could ring and ask if they have a shop on the Dream to confirm or eliminate. Good luck.
