Meraviglia: inauguration program?

Hi, we're sailing with the MSC Meraviglia during Christmas break and since the inauguration of this ship is on the 3rd June in Le Havre, we thought to go there for a weekend as it's not far for us.

However, we can't find any information about the 'spectacle' ! We've seen footage of other ships being inaugurated so we assume this one will also be a big thing with music, artists, fireworks etc.

Does anyone know if there will be a nice program for non-passengers (we will not be ON the ship of course).

Of course we checked the MSC-website (from there we know there is 'some kind' of program). However, it's not clear for us if this is a program for activities held on the ship itself, or outside for the general public?

So concrete:

- is there a timing of the activities (what time does it start?)?

- where do we need to be? What dock?

- is there a list of 'activities' (so the program: at what time will there be e.g. the performance of Patrick Bruel, when will Sophia Loren inaugurate the ship, etc)?

There's really nothing we can find. Nothing on the MSC website, nothing on the website of Le Havre, the Port of Le Havre, ... Strange. We thought it would be quite a big event ...

You're right, though. There is virtually no information regarding the actual event. I suggest you keep a check on mscfans.it website or seatrade-cruise.com, maybe?

Thanks! Interesting sites! I saw a lot of nice pictures already, but unfortunately no details about the christening of the ship.

We'll need to be patient and let them surprise us I guess ;)
