Free Luggage Transport on World or Grand Cruise

We've been told we can have free transport of our luggage to ship on SA sailing next January. Since we live in Florida and are sailing from Ft. Lauderdale, this is not really of interest, particularly since the transport is WEEKS before the Cruise.

Our TA checked with HAL, who said there is nothing we can substitute, a bottle or two of wine, for example. Any ideas?

I also live in FL, the central region, and will drive to the port. I always let them ship my luggage so there is so much less hassle getting to the port the day before with a carry-on and a back pack or on the day of embarkation and the luggage is always waiting for me in my cabin. Have never heard of HAL substituting anything for this perk though so maybe consider having your 2 bags each ship to the port.
