NCL Excursion: "Maui Beach Day" ..Comment Appreciated If You've Done This Excursion

We are renting a car on Day 1 in Maui, but are going to do a ship shore excursion on Day 2.

We are considering "Maui Beach Day" thru NCL. If you have done this excursion, please let us know what you thought. Beach quality? What to do about lunch? Anything else you might care to mention.

In checking the NCL Excursions website, what they supply is transportation, a beach chair and filtered water. An umbrella, lunch, other equipment, etc. is said to be on your nickle. Also, the ad for the tour mentions a "Beach Club Maui", we believe. Between our phone book and computer, we can find no such place. You might want to ask NCL just where it is located.

I called NCL yesterday and got the same vague description, and they told me all you got was transportation to the beach.

If you haven't done so already and don't really want to bother with a car, consider taking a taxi (or uber if they are running in the area) from Kahului Harbor to Kihei or Wailea. Rent a beach chair at Boss Frog's for $5.00 a day and buy water from an ABC store or similar. Same fun. Less money.
