My memories of her after 48 days are quite not as elegant as the photos portray- a bit garish and dour, at the same time. Amsterdam was not our favorite ship - decor wise, but certainly in every way a winner itinerary and concept wise - special cruises, super staff and the entire world at your very comfortable cabin doorstep.

Except, for having to stare at that antique print of the fat cheeked fish with those creepy little sharp, buck teeth on my cabin wall everyday. I should have draped a towel over them. :cool:

Thanks for the photos. We are preparing to sail on her for the first time in a few weeks. Not sure I am going to be a fan of some of those color combos. Looks like something from the 80's.

IMO she has the least attractive (bordering on atrocious) ship interior in the fleet.

While the Amsterdam pictures are good, notice that if you scroll down the initial page that there are similar articles on many other cruise lines and their ships. For example, we are leaving soon on a river cruise with Uniworld. I found pictures of their ships and port activities that I hadn't seen elsewhere.
