Can someone please respond and let me know if they have ever had a Panoramic View cabin on the Grandeur of Seas Cabin PV7582.

If so....was it cool enough with the big windows.

Any pictures please:):):)

You can sort the spreadsheet at https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1P02jhe9iw-mXyk3L9xhEJ_8lv_j4LHI6Qt0TMYy_WP8/edit?pli=1#gid=1581905725 and search for a category or cabin on any ship. The directions are in the "Managing Data" tab.

I just checked and here is no review for that specific cabin.

Ship - Independence

Deck - 6

Stateroom # - 6710

Stateroom Category –

Starboard or Port Side - aft

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – very quiet. Little bit of a soot problem, which the cabin steward attended to daily upon request.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – I loved this aft cabin, read a lot of conflicting reports. I think higher deck would be better but we had no other choice.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - oversized, fabulous balcony

Was wind a problem? - no

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - a little

Any specific problems with this cabin? -no

Any other comments? -

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal

Was wind a problem? - no

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? -None

Ship - Radiance of the Seas

Deck - 3

Stateroom # - 3067

Stateroom Category – N

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Definitely quiet - both on the sides and across the hall

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Not really cabin-specific, but I did have an issue with the mattresses coming apart slightly at night. I went to guest services, and they put a note to the deck supervisor to have "another covering put on tightly" which helped a little, but they could definitely use straps or something to tether the beds together.

Any other comments? - I really enjoyed this cabin. It felt bigger than I'd thought an interior cabin would feel. While my preference is ocean view or balcony, I'd have no issues sailing in a cabin like this again.

Ship - Anthem of the Seas

Deck - 6

Stateroom # - 6246

Stateroom Category – D3 Superior Balcony (w. convertible sofa bed)

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes. Although the stateroom is very close to the forward elevator lobby on deck 6, there was no noise. There were no interior rooms opposite, or anything of note directly below.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Unlike most on deck 6, our view was unobstructed by lifeboats. Couldn't see much of the ship forwards as it is just on the rear of 'the bulge'. Towards the aft, a better view of the ship (and the roof of Jamie's Italian outdoor eating area).

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - I think it was about normal.

Was wind a problem? - No more than would be expected.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - With the sofa bed in bed-mode, there was not much room between it and the drawers / mini-bar when trying to get to the balcony. Didn't really affect us as we're all quite small(!) and were happy to climb over the sofa bed.

Any other comments? - As you enter the stateroom, the bathroom is to the right. The bed is at the bathroom end of the room, with the head of the bed to the right. The sofa bed is also on the right, nearer to the balcony than the bed, with the desk, drawers and minibar opposite on the left. The TV is a flat screen mounted on the wall opposite the bed. The muster point for this stateroom was in the Silk restaurant, which was only 2 decks down, almost directly beneath. I would book this stateroom again.

Ship - Freedom of the Seas

Deck - 10

Stateroom # - 1666

Stateroom Category – JS

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes. Even though the cabin is under the dining area of the Windjammer Café it is quiet. Only one morning did we hear some noise above around 5-5:30 AM. On the balcony at times we could hear pool activities.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Very slight obstructed view forward because of the hump. See picture below

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal

Was wind a problem? - No

Was soot a problem? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Lighting in cabin makes it difficult for someone to sit on couch and read while others are sleeping in bed. The overhead lights must be turned on in the whole cabin for there to be adequate lighting over the couch and over the chair.

Any other comments? - This was our second time in the cabin and would book it again.

Ship - Allure of the Seas

Deck - 7

Stateroom # - 7298

Stateroom category - d8

Port/starboard side - port

Quiet stateroom - very

Connecting stateroom - no

Was wind a problem? - no

Was soot a problem? - no

Any specific problems with this cabin? - when the beds are separated, there is no gap between them. We moved one of the bedside tables to between the beds to create a small gap, but this limited the space to get round the bottom of the bed due to the position of the fridge unit.

VERY lumpy duvets - these need to be replaced!!

Any other comments - bathroom on right when entering cabin. Bed near window.

I would book a deck 6 cabin if I were to go on this ship again. You can't cross from one side of the ship to the other on deck 7, but once we had sussed that we needed to get the port side elevators we were fine.

Ship - Explorer of the Seas

Deck - 9

Stateroom # - 9298

Stateroom Category – JS (w. convertible sofa bed)

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Good view, no obstructions.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal for JS. Three reclining chairs and a table. Seemed to be smaller than balcony we had on Adventure, but could just be a different layout.

Was wind a problem? - No.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Sofa bed was a little short for our son, his feet hung over the end :D

Ship - Allure of the Seas

Deck - 7

Stateroom # - 7325

Stateroom Category – BV

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Mostly quiet... only one or two of the nights, we could hear some of the bass from the music in the AquaTheater, but we had the tv on, so it really didn't bother us

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Not a balcony, but porthole overlooking Boardwalk (see pictures)

Any specific problems with this cabin? - No

Any other comments? - We really liked the convenience of this cabin. We could walk up the back stairs from the Boardwalk/AquaTheater area -- it's the first cabin on the right when you go back inside and down a short hall. Considering others could use it getting to/from the Boardwalk, it never seemed high traffic and was pretty quiet. The little balcony on Deck 7 overlooking the AquaTheater and the ocean was almost like having a semi-private balcony. We got there to watch the shows and just relax in the lounge chairs.

Ship - Adventure

Deck - 10

Stateroom # - The famous 1388, 1390, 1688

Stateroom Category – D1

Starboard or Port Side - aft

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Extremely quiet. Little bit of a soot on chairs and floor. Use a towel on the lounge chairs!!!

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - no

Balcony View - Great views - slight obstruction due to angled bar on 1388/1688. watch your head!

Balcony Size? for class? - 1390/1690 have the largest oversized fabulous balcony in this class and no obstruction

Was wind a problem? - no - we had 30 mph winds during this cruise.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - a little

Any specific problems with this cabin? -no

Comments? -

1390 was a bit musty. 1688 had the best AC

1388/1688 have the pole which you may need due to the windy conditions in Aruba.

Ship - Liberty of the Seas

Deck - 7

Stateroom # - 7626

Stateroom Category – E1

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? – Yes.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? Yes, connects with 7628. At our request, the connecting door was unlocked. (We were traveling with family)

Balcony View -– Good view, no obstructions. At our request, the balcony divider with 7628 was opened. It only opens half way (the outer panel slides back alongside the inner panel).

Balcony Size? Normal. Two chairs and a small table with plenty of space to move them about.

Was wind a problem? -not usually, but we had a few windy sea days (windy on all outer decks) and the balcony was windy, even though somewhat protected by the side panels.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Because this is a connecting cabin, you do not have a sofa. There is one upholstered chair instead plus a desk chair. If we had a third person, their bed would have been a drop-down.

Any other comments? - The bed is by the balcony. There was quite a bit of storage space in the cabin and in the bathroom. The shower is round and small but still serviceable. Cabin is convenient to the aft elevators. We were very happy with this cabin and would book it again.

Deck -10

Stateroom # - 1600

Stateroom Category – owners suite (OS)

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Suprisingly, it was very quiet for the location. I was expecting all sorts of noises being right under the pool deck, but we heard very little noise

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Great view. There is an overhang from the pool deck above, but it helped keep our balcony from being scorching hot.

Was wind a problem? - No

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - None

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – OK during the day, but in the early hours, and early morning a loud rumbling sound happened every day as the Solarium/Park Cafe staff closed down and then set up for the day. (8072 is immediately below the Solarium)The noise was very loud, didn't last for long, but enough to stir you from your slumbers.

Ship - Anthem of the Seas

Deck - 11

Stateroom # - 11 148

Stateroom Category – D2

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Quiet except for the balcony door/balcony front. If it wasn't very calm seas, the balcony glass/plastic constructions was making cracking noises 24/7. 5 feet swell and it got worse and we have been waking up during night from all the creaking (even with ear plugs).

Location itself is very quiet all day and night.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Nice view, no obstructions, bridge wing visible

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - normal

Was wind a problem? - no

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? - as named, creaking of the balcony door. Maintenance wasn't able to fix it, other cabins also suffering from this problem, but it seems ours was a little bit worse than others.

Any other comments? - n/a

Ship - Oasis of the Seas

Deck - 10

Stateroom # - 10240

Stateroom Category – OS

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes. Though if the OS above you moves the chairs in the dining room area you can hear it. The chairs in your own suite are equally as loud when moved. They really need to put those felt feet on the bottoms. This was the only noise we heard (also with the occassional ding-dong-ditch from the doorbell) but luckily the OS upstairs wasn't playing musical chairs in the middle of the night.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Very slight obstructed view forward because of the hump. See picture below

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - HUGE. 2 full size plsuh loungers with table and a large dining table for 4 with upgraded/wicker chairs.

Was wind a problem? - No

Was soot a problem? - No

Any specific problems with this cabin? - The remote for the bedroom tv wasn't functional. The curtains are a bit cumbersome to open and close, but really...you're in the owner's suite. These are all first world problems.

Any other comments? - Eastern Caribbean sailing from FLL, we had plenty of shade the first sea day, but were directly in the sun on days 6 and 7.

Ship - Independence of the Seas

Stateroom # - 1605 & 1607

Stateroom Category – K & L

Starboard or Port Side - Port

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? -Yes - we had both rooms

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Some may find it a problem that we could hear the music playing from the pool deck when there was a band playing. It was muffled but you knew what it was.

Any other comments? - These cabins were bigger than we expected. One was a double and the other a quad. There was enough room for everyone to move around and plenty of storage.

Ship – Anthem of the Seas

Deck - 6

Stateroom # - 6274

Stateroom Category: DO; Deluxe Ocean View with a partially obstructed balcony view (due to lifeboats & their supporting davits).

Starboard or Port Side: Port side, slightly aft.

Quiet Stateroom (With comments on problems)? No. For several days (and more frustratingly, nights) of our transatlantic cruise, we heard a constant thumping/banging noise, thinking it was a door that wasn't latched, or something that came loose between the panels that separate the cabins (we've had that before, which was easily fixed after we reported it). On this cruise, we had Maintenance visit our cabin twice to diagnose the problem. They indicated that it was simply the noise of waves hitting the ship (an issue we've never experienced before in 15 cruises). They indicated that passengers on certain (but not all) decks were complaining of the same issue.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? Yes.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. We looked directly out at the tall slender davit that held the lifeboat. Looking to the left, we looked directly at the top of a lifeboat. Our view was only partially obstructed. This was an 8-night Transatlantic crossing (obviously with no ports of call); therefore there really wasn't much to "see" other than ocean, so the partially obstructed view was not an issue for us. I still sat on the balcony on three separate days and enjoyed it. Had this been a port-intensive cruise, I would have found the partially obstructed view to be a major inconvenience.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? Normal for this stateroom category. Included two loungers, two foot stools and one small side table.

Was wind a problem? Yes. We had wind and high seas for 4 days. There was constant "creaking" and "whistling" coming from our balcony door. On those nights, we left the balcony door open 2-3 inches which somewhat alleviated the issue. On the worst night, we actually left our cabin door open a crack (yikes!) in order to create a flow of air which also helped lessen the noise. We heard from other passengers that Maintenance came and replaced the rubber(?) seals around their balcony doors to alleviate/eliminate the noise.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? N/A.

Any specific problems with this cabin? As noted above. Also, some of the tables in the outside seating area of Jamie's Italian Restaurant on deck 5 have a clear view of the balcony in this cabin. I found this out the hard way while standiing on the balcony in my "jammies" ;-o

Any other comments? In this cabin, the bed was nearest the cabin door, with the sofa and desk nearest the balcony door. We viewed several cabins in this class, and some were configured oppositely. Both layouts seemed fine to us. The bathroom had a curved glass shower door as opposed to a curtain, which suited us just fine. Instead of a retractable clothes line in the shower, there was a two-pronged hook mounted inside the shower. There were two separate closets located on either side of the bed. We found there was ample closet and drawer space for two passengers, but it would have been a challenge for three passengers, in our opinion.

Ship - Navigator of the Seas

Deck - 10

Stateroom # - 1278

Stateroom Category – GS

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – No issues that woke me up or kept me awake.

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No

Balcony View – Nothing unexpected

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Normal for a GS. Two chairs with one round table and a lounger

Was wind a problem? - Nothing unusual, we hit about 70 mph combined force on the way home due to a storm but that wind was everyone's problem.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - n/a

Any specific problems with this cabin? - There was a small hole in what would be the grout in the bathroom floor, approx ¾" long. Every time we stepped near it, water came up. They would have moved us had another GS (or better ;) ) been available but no dice. They said they basically needed to tear out that floor to correct the issue. They managed to patch the hole and no further water came up through the remaining 5 days. The next trip was a no-passengers Repo to Ft. Lauderdale so ideally the tear out started moments after we left and all is good right now, but it was worth mentioning.

Any other comments? - There were several announcements made about the sensitivity of Navigator's toilet system and on multiple occasions it took 3 or 4 flushes for the waste to be removed from the bowl. Again, this may be fixed by now but a heads-up.

Ship - Freedom of the Seas

Deck - 9

Stateroom # - 9344

Stateroom Category – Junior Suite

Starboard or Port Side - Starboard

Quiet Stateroom? (With comments on problems) – Yes, very quiet. We hardly heard anything other than an occasional sound of people passing by outside while talking (very close to the elevators) and the wind whooshing (don't think the seal on the stateroom door was that great).

Was stateroom a connecting stateroom? - No.

Balcony View - Give comments on view, noting if location of any obstructions was an issue. – Hump balcony so an interesting somewhat panoramic view but difficult to see too far to the left or right beyond that.

Balcony Size? Normal or oversized for class? - Some say these balconies are larger but I think it's an optical illusion. Two lounge chairs, two regular chairs (one with a footstool) and one very small table (couldn't eat breakfast out there, table too small).

Was wind a problem? - No really a problem per se. Had a rock few first days at sea; couldn't get into our first port at Coco Cay. We stayed off the balcony until it settled down; very wet.

If an aft cabin, was soot a problem? - N/A

Any specific problems with this cabin? - Nothing other than that door seal, didn't bother us that much.

Any other comments? - This was the first time we've stayed on a deck other than the upper most. I liked very much the fact that we didn't hear any noise from above and as mentioned the elevators/stairs were very convenient. Having said that, we still prefer the aft on the highest deck.
