Dark Rome/Through Eternity

Has anyone used either of these companies for a tour of the Vatican or of Rome itself?

We used Dark Rome a few weeks ago for a tour of the Vatican. It was an awful experience. I recommend getting a small tour of 10 or less people to go through the Vatican so you can truly appreciate what you are seeing. Larger groups are difficult because you cannot hear what is being said and it's also hard to follow large groups because the Vatican is so crowded. I posted a Trip Advisor review today of Dark Rome - I cannot figure out how they get good Vatican reviews.
