Prinsendam Fitness Center Equipment--Ellipticals?

Anyone know if they currently have elliptical machines in the gym?--husband concerned about things to do.

The gym has a pretty good array of machines, active and resistance with weights - if by elliptical you mean ones that are like arm movers and stair climbers at the same time? I have seen a much fancier device called an elliptical which did an entire body work out in what ....two minutes - that they do not have.

We were on board recently and DH believes there are a couple of ellipticals - but he is not sure. I cannot answer as the gym, to me, was somewhere to pass on my way to the rear pool deck ...

This is the sort of machine he likes to use: This looks like the Prinsendam gym, but not sure if it reflects the current equipment. Thanks for your comments.

Prior to my cruise in December on Nieuw Amsterdam, I tried to determine if the equipment that I have been using is available in the Gym. Received much appreciated information, but found, upon embarking, only one type of machine was the same that I had been using and was approved for my use by my cardiologist and by my hospital's cardiac rehab staff. Individual weights were available, which I was also able to use.

A visit to the Gym on Embarkation Day for your ship is probably only going to be the best answer to your question.

I must say that the Gym was well cared for by the Staff. Cold towels were even available, at least on the Nieuw Amsterdam.

I've been on most of Hal's fleet but not the prinsendam. On every ship I've been on they have had elliptical machines. I hope someone will be able to confirm they have them on the prinsendam.

They had ellipticals Dec 2016. I use ellipticals. It is a small gym and if I remember correctly it has four ellipticals.
