Afternoon on embarkation day?

Does anyone know if afternoon tea is served on the day you embark the QM2?

I shouldn't think so, not in the Queen's Room anyway, though have never checked. It would clash with Muster.

I have never known it to be served in The Queen's Room. There has always been quite a bit of food available in Kings Court. Our last embarkation was in Quebec City earlier this month. We boarded later than we usually do and went to Kings Court around 3:30. It was more like a late lunch than the traditional tea.

When we have been in the Grills we noticed tea was not served in the Grills Lounge on embarkation day.

Defiantly no, the crew and guest have the Muster Drill to do. Assuming you embark in time, lunch is offered in the Kings Court/Lido or in the restaurant for Grill guests.

Definitely never in the Queens Room.

And it will be cut pretty well down in the Kings Court as well as that is one of the main venues for emergency drill.
