First time flying to Genoa

Hi all we booked to fly from Bournemouth airport to Genoa for a cruise on Oceana in October 2016 so a while yet but looking at the destinations on the bournemouth website they don't fly to that destination ? also what happens when we have boarded the flight do we have to collect our suitcases at the arrival airport or are picked up by P&O.

If you're on Oceana, like us last month, you fly Bournemouth/Genoa on a Jet2 P&O Charter flight...in other words everyone on the flight will be on your cruise and after checking in your hold bags at Bournemouth you next see them outside your cabin.

It confused me as well.

I think Jet2 are based at Leeds/Bradford Airport now and fly a plane down to Bournemouth just to take you to Genoa!

We went on a chartered Jet2 flight from East Midlands airport to Genoa last October and everything was fine.:)
