geiranger bus to Mt. Dalsnibba or Pano bus with waterfall walk + boat?

Geiranger-Mom and DD15. Have to choose (and prebook) 1.bus to Mt. Dalsnibba and (maybe fjord boat ride later that day) or 2. Pano bus + waterfall walk + fjord boat? I am thinking of doing #2, as we would have to pre-book and have no idea if we would be fogged in. We can do 11:45 pano (maybe less fog?) and 2pm boat, but only have the option of the 9:30 Mt D bus. Is Mt. D and the ride up THAT much more spetacular?
