stavanger vs geiranger fjord sightseeing boat?

Recommended Posts

wondering what the difference is between stavanger vs geiranger fjord sightseeing boats? We are booked for a 3 hour boat in Stavanger and wondering if going on a 1 hr fjord boat in Geiranger (after DIY waterfall walk to fjord center and then panoramic bus tour) is going to be very similar to the boat tour in Stavanger? It would be DD15 and Mom. I don't want them to be sold out, so don't know that I can just decide on the fly.

One thing about the Geiranger boat is that you will be travelling the same waters as your ship has just sailed in on, and will sail out on. You get a different perspective, but the same scenery. That's not to say don't do it, but it's something to consider.

The Stavanger boat will probably take you to Pulpit Rock which you probably won't have seen from your ship.
