terrytallent1 Posted May 22, 2017 #2 Share Posted May 22, 2017 Do not understand your question. Do restaurants charge you per table? The cruise lines feed everybody on the cruises I take. Do you want to see pricing like the airlines who charge per passenger. What prompted you to look for some way to pay a set fee for a cabin and allow you to fill the cabin with as many people as possible. Those who pay a single supplement (most times that means pay for 2 when only 1 is sailing) may have a valid reason to look for a cruise line that charges per person and not per cabin. In short there is a way to book per cabin. Book for one to get the per cabin price. Then you are able to bring somebody free as you paid the "per cabin" price. dreams2 Posted May 22, 2017 Author #3 Share Posted May 22, 2017 It's been ages since I've booked a cruise so was unsure. No need to be sarcastic!
Rare MicCanberra Posted May 25, 2017 #4 Share Posted May 25, 2017 IMO, the main reason why is that when you book a cruise, it is more than a cabin. It also includes food and entertainment. This is why the cost of a cruise with a twin share cabin is less than a cabin with three or more people in it and generally why a single is not half the cost and incurs a single supplement. I hope this helps explain it.
